Donald DeChico

Donald DeChico passed away suddenly of pancreatic cancer Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Aria Healthcare in Langhorne. He was 63.

He was born in Trenton, N.J., and raised in Levittown.

He was a recent retiree, of 26 years, of the U.S. Postal Service in Langhorne.

Don was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, St. John Newmann Assembly, where he was the chairman of the Color Guard, a member of the Color Corp., and Pope Pious XII Council of Croydon.

He enjoyed fishing, and belonged to the Blue's Brothers Fishing Club of Levittown.

Don also was a member of the Penn Warner Club of Morrisville, a member of the St. Ann Athletic Association of Bristol, and the Bristol Moose Lodge 1169.

He was a loving and devoted son and brother, and he especially enjoyed the time he spent with his niece and nephew.

He was a reliable employee who was very dependable. He had many years of perfect attendance at work.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Leonard DeChico.

He will be sadly missed by his loving mother, Laura (Stella); his brother, Joseph and his wife, Joann of Langhorne; a niece, Natalie DeChico; a nephew, Nicholas DeChico; his aunt, Edith Cartlidge; and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, followed by his funeral Mass celebration at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church.
