Charles E. WordenCharles E. Worden of Croydon passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Attleboro Nursing Center, Langhorne. He was 86.
Born in Philadelphia, Charles was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. He loved children and pets.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during both World War II and the Korean War, and was a quality control inspector with GE in the Aerospace division until his retirement.
Charles was the loving husband for 60 years of Cora (Incollingo) Worden and the father of Lois Ann Worden of Warminster and Charles E. Worden Jr. of Norristown, Pa. He is also survived by a sister, Hildegarde 'Patsy' Cameron of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at noon on Thursday, March 12, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 601 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 19021. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
