Raymond R. Hearn, Sr., age 88, of Langhorne passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the St. Mary Medical Center.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Hearn resided in Croydon for 35 years before moving to Langhorne 15 years ago. He had worked at Cramps Shipyard building submarines during WWII, and he was also employed by Rohm and Haas for 30 years; he was a fourth Degree Member Knights of Columbus and a founding member of the Dolphin Swim Club. A former member of St. Thomas Aquinas in Croydon, and he later became a member of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Penndel. Mr. Hearn was a member of the Oxford Valley Seniors, Parkway Senior, and the St. Thomas Aquinas Seniors. Raymond enjoyed traveling, trips to Atlantic City, playing cards and was an avid Phillies Fan, and he also enjoyed participating in all recreational and competitive sports, especially dancing.

Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years Agnes F. and his brothers Edward, Jr. and Alexander. Left to cherish his memory are his seven children, Raymond, Sheila, Riemann and her husband Stephen, Christine Hearn, Maureen Chuff and her husband Philip, Carole Skipper and her husband Richard, Theodore and his partner Ruth Williams, and Lorraine Jones and her husband Ted; nine grandchildren, Shaylynn, Michael, Sherry, Steven, Suzanne, Michelle, James, Kylie and Casey; he is also survived by four great grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Dalton, and Shiloh; and his two sisters Evelyn Stine and Thelma Hicks.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of grace Church, 225 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, Pa. 19047. Relatives and friends will be received at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, Pa. on Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Thursday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
