James T Vaughan

James T. Vaughan, of Croydon, passed away peacefully, at his home on March 5th 2021. He was just 69 years old.

James worked as an automotive and diesel mechanic for many years - most notably for Bristol Township and Giles & Ransome/Foley CAT from where he retired. After being retired for a short period of time he started delivering for Bill Flannery Automotive. James was also deeply committed to serving his community. He served as a member, past Chief & President of the Croydon Fire Company. James was also a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 4765. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, golfing, bike riding, and walking his dog, Lucy.

James will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Kathleen (nee Perkins), his daughter, Theresa M. Konyves (Erik), his grandchildren: Julia Rae (Alex) and Madison Gabrielle and his sisters: Anna Vaughan and Linda Finnell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, March 10th from 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Thursday, March 11th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his service at 11:00 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in James name to the Croydon Fire Company, 911 State Road Croydon, PA. 19021.
