Anthony L. DiTommaso, Jr.

( May 26, 1934 - August 28, 2018 ) ANTHONY L. DITOMMASO, JR. , better known as "Pop" , passed away peacefully at home on August 28th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Tony had been a resident of Croydon, Pa for the last 58 years. He was born in the Germantown section of Phila. to parents Anthony and Virginia (nee LaVecchia) on May 26, 1934.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Annette J. DiTommaso ( nee Root), his son, Michael DiTommaso and grandson, Nicholas Simon.

Tony was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School, Class of '52, served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from Sears, Roebuck & Co. in 1999 after 40 years of service. He was a faithful communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Pius XII Council #4765 and a proud Man of Malvern, attending over 45 years of annual retreats.

Tony was an avid golfer, had a green thumb, loved to garden and cook. He always looked forward to the annual family crabbing trip and subsequent feast. The most important thing to Tony was his family.

He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Constance (James) Simon; son, Daniel and his companion, Kim Goldacker; daughter- in- law, Rosemary DiTommaso; sister, Barbara Picciani and brother Raymond.

Tony was adored by his "Rabbits": Jimmy, Joshua, Michele, Kristin, Rebecca, Michael, Geoffrey, Breanna, Lauren Marie and their spouses.

"P-Pop" absolutely cherished his "Peanuts" : Samuel, Maggie, Kennedy, Harper, Brinlee and Everett. They will greatly miss him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday Sept. 1, 2018 from 9:45AM until 10:45Am at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church 601 Bristol Pike Croydon. Pa. 19021 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00am.

Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Butler Pk. and Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, Pa. 19462.
