Theodore W. Hearn

ยท Aug 22, 2017

With profound sadness, the family of Theodore W. Hearn of Brookhaven, Pa. announces his passing on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017. He was 56.

He was a realtor in the Bucks County area for 25 years. Like his father, Ted was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus as well as local self-help groups. He loved playing chess and spending time with friends and family.

He was a devoted son, husband, brother, and uncle. Like his father, who named him after Ted Williams, he was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. Ted had a great sense of humor, was quick with his quips, and loved to make others laugh.

He is survived by his loving wife and companion of 17 years, Ruth Fulvio Williams, and his devoted cat, Mister. He also is survived by his siblings, Ray Hearn, Sheila Riemann (Stephen), Chrissy Hearn and Mary Ellen Lilly, Maureen Chuff (Phil), Carole Skipper (Richie) and Lorraine Jones (Ted), and several loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Hearn, and his mother, Agnes (McCole) Hearn, both of Croydon, Pa. He also was preceded in death by his friend and brother-in-law, A. Dennis Fulvio of Media, Pa.

His wife would like to take this time to thank all his caregivers who gave us much support and love these past eight years. It would have been impossible to get through this without all of you.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, followed by a service at The Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, Pa. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, Ted and his family request that donations be made to CityTeam Ministries, 634 Sproul St., Chester PA 19013 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.The Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, Norwood, Pa.
